This was one of the best programmes on tv since Planet Earth, giving a fascinating insight into China. I had tried to find this album the day after watching it on TV but could not. Recently I was looking for some chilled "classical" Chinese music but could not find anything that did not sound like it should be playing in a karaoke bar. After randomly searching for music tagged as "China"... I stumbled back onto this amazing soundtrack!

The opening theme on the album is stunning and has such an amazing Chinese "feel". The rest of the album does not disappoint, despite the fact that most of the tracks are fairly short.

Grab this album to add to any classical collection, you will not be disappointed!（by James Standing）

看得出来这是一位被《Wild China》惊艳到的痴迷中国风的老外，感觉他找这张原声和我寻觅《昆曲六百年》的经历是如此的相似..

网络上流传有不少极低码率的 Wild China 原声，VeryCD上有乐友发布了192K的版本，但我查过频谱只有13KHz，现在发布的是VBR版的，应该是目前音质最好的了。以前听的时候没太大感觉，今天偶然翻出来欣赏听到《Mountains》竟有泪奔的感觉，呜呜，此刻又听得起疙瘩袅～

《Mountains》这首曲子以前听过，但不知道名字——苍劲雄浑而又宁静悠远，总让我心荡神驰，总想知道那记忆深处的曲调的名字，可却无处寻觅。寻寻觅觅也寻不见，悠悠然然却悠然现。感谢分享！

《美丽中国》是由中英联合摄制小组拍摄的一部关于中国野生动物和自然风光的系列纪录片，展现了中国的自然人文景观，其中的配乐优美动人，正可谓音画皆美，谢谢分享。
